A Note from the Artist:

As an artist, I aim to explore the idea of true human experience. I am curious as to how we live our lives, what we go through, how this has impacted us as people. As humans, we are constantly growing and evolving. I am continuously growing in my life, moving through various seasons and learning more about my own self. I aim to reflect this growth in my work as an artist. I am open to exploring the ways we all experience growth as humans in the wild of changing things.

I focus specifically on musicality as a drive for movement. I feel strongly that movement derived from a beat or lyric, created by humans, allows us to find strong, deep connections. A story that allows the audience to interpret in any way they wish is what I strive for. Allowing anyone watching to be involved in my work and the experience I am trying to tell, makes my goal as an artist come full circle. The dancer’s relationship among one another and to the music is important to me. I aim to begin my work with a central experience that encompasses my soul. I want to give dancers the ability to have their own artistic freedom within my movement, helping me craft my artistic style within theirs. I am interested in the different textures and patterns a dancer can create. My art and movement are centered around human experience, crafted by the questions we ask ourselves as we move through the evolution of life.
